Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • Olive oil for the dough
  • 1lb veal sausage
  • 1 bunch broccoli rabe
  • ¼ cup of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Salt
  • Red pepper flakes
  • ½ lb shredded mozzarella
  • Calabrian chili peppers for topping

 

Instructions

  1. Remove the casing from the sausage and brown in a skillet until cooked.
  2. Sauté the broccoli rabe in the olive oil and garlic. Season with salt and red pepper flakes.
  3. Heat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough and brush both sides with olive oil. Place the dough directly on the grill grates or use a grill pan.
  5. Close the grill lid and cook the dough for about 3-5 minutes until golden and flip.
  6. Top with cheese, followed by the veal sausage and broccoli rabe. Close grill lid and cook until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the grill and top with Calabrian chilies and slice.
