Ingredients

  • 1lbs ground veal
  • 1 ounce Taco Seasoning Mix
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup Taco blend cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup green onions, sliced
  • 16 ounces crescent rolls, 2 (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Add ground veal to a non-stick skillet and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add taco seasoning mix and water; stir to combine. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes or until the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Remove the veal from the heat and set aside.
  5. Spray a large cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Unroll both cans of crescent dough and separate into 16 triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circle so that the shorter sides of the triangles form a 5-inch circle in the center of the ring. The dough will overlap.
  6. Arrange the veal mixture evenly around the circle and top with the sliced green onions and shredded cheese.
  7. Fold the pointed end of the triangle up over the veal mixture and tuck it under the center to secure it.
  8. Whisk the egg and brush it over the crescent dough.
  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crescent ring is golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before cutting into the ring. Serve with your favorite taco toppings.
