This February culinary students competed to win scholarship money by testing their creativity with veal in the kitchen. Beef Checkoff funded Veal – Discover Delicious and State Beef Councils partnered together to host the state and national competition!

Participating culinary students were asked to watch an online video to learn about the humane practices of modern veal farmers. After watching this virtual farm tour culinary students, individually or in teams, created a unique recipe of their own. This year’s competition theme: fancy veal sandwiches!
